Excellent opportunity for RN or LPN for Patient Care Department supervisor in an outpatient clinic. Full-time, Mon-Fri position with generous benefits and excellent work environment. Fast paced position requiring good communication and people skills. Must be a self-starter, be willing to work as a team member, and have a cheerful, positive attitude. Applicants must have a current unrestricted Oregon Nursing License, 2 years of nursing experience with previous office experience and supervisory skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Works closely with Clinical Services Manager.
Supervises Patient Care staff of 25, including nurses and MA’s.
Planning, organizing, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising daily department operations, ensuring coverage needs are met.
Oversee Anticoagulation Program and Annual Flu Shot Clinic.
Manage the medication ordering system.
Maintain a comprehensive orientation and training program for Patient Care staff.
Ensure adherence to Clinic policies and procedures, compliance and HIPAA privacy, security and educational requirements.
Participates in staff hiring, individual performance evaluations, counsels personnel when required, and recommends and participates in corrective actions.
