We are looking to several positions including a farm hand and farm workers with a OR Marijuana Workers Permit.
FARM HAND
A family-owned small organic farm is seeking the services of a ranch hand. This position is intended to be long term, although we would consider short term for the right candidate.
Envisioned is a 1/2-time job to start, with the possibility of more hours depending on the individual. Working hours are flexible within reason.
CHARACTER TRAITS
Reliable, candidate must have excellent references
Well-suited to work with minimal and/or intermittent supervision
Clean DMV record
Strong work ethic
BASE DUTIES
Moving
General cleanup
Light maintenance, depending on candidate’s skill set
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES
The family wishes to gradually improve the farm, including its soils and infrastructure. Depending on the interest, education, experience of the candidate opportunities exist for a greater scope of work, and/or growth. Examples:
Participate/lead soil improvement program
Carpentry, fence building, and/or other construction-related activities
Operation of farm equipment
Maintenance of farm equipment
Incorporating livestock into the operation
Supervisory roles
WAGES
Negotiable, depending on experience and aptitude.
