Work includes:
Light Animal Care -- Sheep and horses
Year round general landscape maintenance -- weedeating, blackberry removal, mowing, pruning, etc.
Farm and Irrigation Work
Flood Irrigation beginning May through September with daily support
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
Capable of handling a physically demanding job -- should be able to lift at least 50lbs
Great work ethic -- capable of working unsupervised if need be
An animal lover -- of both the horses, sheep, and cat, and also the abundant local wildlife
Punctual -- must have reliable transportation
Details:
12 month commitment preferred
2 1/2 days Fall, Winter, and Spring
Late Spring and Summer 4 days if possible
1 weekend day if possible
8 hour shifts during winter, longer hours may be required in summer due to irrigation.
On the Job training provided, but experience is a plus
Pay is variable depending on experience
