Work includes:
Light Animal Care Sheep and horses
Year round general landscape maintenance weedeating, blackberry removal, mowing, pruning, etc.
Farm and Irrigation Work
Flood Irrigation beginning May through September with daily support
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
Capable of handling a physically demanding job should be able to lift at least 50lbs
Great work ethic capable of working unsupervised if need be
An animal lover of both the horses, sheep, and cat, and also the abundant local wildlife
Punctual must have reliable transportation
Details:
12 month commitment preferred
2 1/2 days Fall, Winter, and Spring
Late Spring and Summer 4 days if possible
1 weekend day if possible
8 hour shifts during winter, longer hours may be required in summer due to irrigation.
On the Job training provided, but experience is a plus
Pay is variable depending on experience
