Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This job is a 40 hour per week position, the hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday and require being in charge for the emergency maintenance phone on rotation with other team members. Travel is also required.
Our maintenance staff will be under the direction of the On Site Manager. They will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the apartment complex and all areas related to the day‐to‐day maintenance operations of the community.
Attendance is an imperative job function.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting
Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
Make ready units for new move‐ins
Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems
Responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program
Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping
Pool maintenance experience required
Coordinate special projects as directed.

Our maintenance staff must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. Maintenance must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships. Technicians must be willing to travel to other properties as needed. Valid Driver's License, Reliable Transportation and some of your own tools Required. We also require all applicants and employees to be able to lift over 50lbs and endure the Oregon weather year round.
