The Social Media/Customer Service Specialist at Siskiyou Sungrown is an exciting and diverse position within a dynamic team of professionals. This individual will work with the sales and marketing departments to traffic communications, assist with the Siskiyou Sungrown Social Media Marketing Plan, and provide excellent customer service at our Hemp CBD retail store/business office in Grants Pass, OR.
Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a passion for social media, effectively juggles competing priorities, and is skilled with interaction across major social media platforms while maintaining strict adherence to approved company messaging. He or she has excellent written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to learn and take input from multiple teammates - but will also contribute their own opinions and suggestions.
Essential duties include:
⢠Participate in the development, execution, and assessment of the Siskiyou Sungrown Social Media Marketing Plan;
⢠Monitor and maintain regular interaction across multiple social media platforms, in accordance with department strategy, to ensure coordinated, on-point delivery of Siskiyou Sungrown brand message and consistent, effective internet presence;
⢠Assist the marketing and sales departments with promotional activities, as needed;
⢠Provide excellent customer service via phone, internet, and in-person at our Hemp CBD retail store in Grants Pass (This is a hemp-only retail store. No OLCC-licensed cannabis is sold at this location.);
⢠Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
⢠Experience with social networking (Social media marketing experience a plus);
⢠Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text) and communication skills;
⢠Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
⢠Any combination of education, training, and experience necessary to successfully execute the requirements of the job will be considered.
This is a full-time, hourly position. Salary $15-$19/hr, DOE.
Siskiyou Sungrown is a premium producer of Hemp CBD and OLCC-licensed cannabis products. Candidates must be 21 years of age and will be required to obtain an OLCC Marijuana Worker's Permit if they do not already possess one when they begin work. (This is a simple process that we will be happy to assist with.)
