ESAM Inc., a custom cable, wire harness, contract manufacturing firm headquartered in Grants Pass, Oregon has immediate openings for Soldering positions. Full time, must be willing to work overtime and weekends.

The Soldering position requires use of soldering iron (pencil type), solders wires onto a variety of components.
Duties:
1. Bend wires and mechanically attach to components.
2. Tin the wire
3. Read instruction sheets
4. Call for In Process Inspection when applicable.
5. Fill out traveler paperwork.
6. Make suggestions on improving the process.
7. Solder wire.
8. Remove solder and rework.
9. Hand strip as required.
Requirements:
1. Able to distinguish colors.
2. Able to read small print.
3. Able to read a ruler.
4. Have excellent manual dexterity.
5. Grasp a soldering iron and hold solder for eight (8) or more hours per day.
6. Sit for eight (8) or more hours per day.
7. Able to lift and carry 25 lbs. on a repeated basis.
8. Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
9. Have the ability to work with arms at shoulder level for extended periods of time.
10. Bend head and neck at an angle to view through a halo light or scope to solder very small components.
