Job description

Come Work for the Largest Auto Supplier in the United States. Several locations. We are currently looking for a Manager for Our Bend location and for A manager for our Medford location

Objective: The store manager demonstrates leadership and management skill directing the operations of the store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through inventory and expense control, minimizing loss of assets, employee engagement, and controlling operating costs.

Essential Job Duties:

Opens and closes store and yard daily.

Ensures that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.

Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and ensuring sales employees achieve daily personal sales goals.

Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures including safety through regular staff meetings, store walk-throughs and audits, etc.

Analyzes and measures business trends; develops and implements plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed store goals and objectives.

Controls shrink, expenses and payroll.

Coordinates and oversees the store inventory process ensuring appropriate inventory stock levels.

Maintains employee job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining of employees.

Continually evaluates employee performance and provides consistent and regular feedback to employees including completing annual employee performance evaluations.

Conducts recruiting and interviewing of candidates selecting the most qualified individuals who possess the skills necessary to achieve store goals.

Trains and develops store management in all aspects of the business; directs and monitors training and development for all store employees.

Fosters an environment of continuous improvement.

Coordinates with HR in related training, employee situations requiring investigation and/or disciplinary action, in legal compliance matters (i.e. EPA, OSHA and DOT), and in leave of absence or modified duty situations.

Protects and maintains the security of store assets.

Maintains compliance to all local, state and federal laws.

17. Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

· Exposure to shop and store elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.

Physical Demands:

· Ability to lift or move supplies or parts up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Required Education and experience

High School Diploma and 5 years of Store Management Or

Associates in Business or a related field and 2 years of store management experience

2 years of supervisory experience

Preferred Education and experience:

Bachelor Degree in Business, Management or related field and 7 years of store management

Strong knowledge of and proven work experience in store operations

Auto, Auto parts or Auto Salvage a plus
