About The Role:

The Construction Coordinator can expect to work with teams in various departments and with projects that constantly shift and change. Working with local and state code requirements and liaising with other team members, vendors and inspectors is all part of an ordinary day’s work. You should have a firm grasp of construction work, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a steadfast approach to learning on the job. Some Solar experience is helpful, but not necessary.

To be successful as a construction coordinator you should be an optimistic, calm, perceptive problem-solver. Ideal candidates will have exceptional analytical and time-management skills, an ability to identify and utilize the different skills and talents, basic understanding of project management software, and unflinching respect for modern standard practices, rules, and regulations.

Construction Coordinator Responsibilities:

Review and coordinate pertinent construction projects.

Manage and coordinate the quality of work and budget costs.

Communicate and coordinate with vendors and team members as needed for success.

Complete work scopes for vendor packets.

Answer vendor questions and resolve vendor issues when the arise.

Develop and utilize the vendor pool to maximize productivity and quality of work.

Adhering to both budgetary and time constraints.

Reporting on progress and challenges.

Support team in finding and managing contractors and sub-contractors.

Learning and applying the latest relevant knowledge to the work.

Construction Coordinator Requirements:

1-3 years’ experience in Construction/Roofing/Solar is preferred.

Experience with CRM software is preferred

Experience with MS Office Suite and/or Bluebeam a plus

Strong business and communication skills.

Working knowledge of project management software.

Effective decision making is a plus.
