We are currently seeking a Hotel General Manager to oversee operations at one of our luxury boutique hotels in Newport Oregon. The ideal candidate has experience in operating small boutique hotels where the manager must be comfortable leading/working in all areas of operations.

This challenging position manages the day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel. You will plan and organize the hotel team, communicates goals, and schedule/assign work. You will comply with and advise staff of formal policies and procedures, identify options and resolve issues while you initiate salary, corrective action, or other staff-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies. The General Manager alerts the regional management or corporate office of serious issues.

Responsibilities include ensuring that product quality standards are met in all areas of the hotel as it relates to the appearance, levels of maintenance and cleanliness; establishing and maintaining preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the hotel and achieving productivity and quality goals.

The General Manager will establish performance goals for employees and provide regular feedback and develop a succession plan to ensure adequate future bench strength. You will ensure all staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions and ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and hotel assets. Additionally, you will need to achieve established safety compliance goals and complying with all standards and inspection requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or equivalent field preferred.

· 2-3 years of general management experience.

· Flexible work schedule

· May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
