We’re Pelican Brewing Company and we got our start as a destination brewpub on the sand at the base of Cape Kiwanda. Today, we operate that original flagship brewpub in Pacific City, another, more modern brewpub in Cannon Beach, our production brewery and taproom in Tillamook - where most of our award-winning beers are produced, and are currently in the process of building an exceptional fourth Pelican brewpub on the water at Siletz Bay just south of Lincoln City.

WHO YOU ARE:
You are a hospitality professional who is excited to deliver an extraordinary coastal experience to each and every guest at Pelican Brewing in Cannon Beach. You possess acute people management skills; including motivating, coaching, delegating and relationship building. You have experience creating scheduled, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems, and have enthusiasm for leading the operations of a high-volume, destination restaurant. Most importantly, you’re a leader who others desire to follow.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will join our leadership team in, first and foremost, leading and living our values of Humility, Agility, Tenacity, Empathy, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Generosity, and Optimism. In addition, you will
Oversee day to day operations of the Pacific City Pelican Brewing Company, in partnership with the General Manager;
Motivate the team through relationship building and kind, consistent guidance;
Consistently deliver an exceptional guest experience;
Be creative and entrepreneurial and have a willingness to adapt to new conditions or initiatives;
Instill passion for excellence by the example you set;
Create written SOPs to ensure consistency with quality and service in all facilities;
Support our exemplary service culture that creates memorable experiences for guests;
Work independently with little supervision while communicating progress and asking for help when necessary;
Recruit, train, and retain the best team members;
Build relationships with sister properties and other local businesses
