We are seeking a Restaurant Manager with experience in front of the house as well as strong culinary skills. Must have at least 4 years management experience, able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to solve problems creatively. Accountability and communication are key factors for this position.
Restaurant Manager Responsibilities
Taking ownership and responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations
Scheduling
Liquor and beer orders
Daily payroll analysis
Daily liquor analysis
Ensure daily sanitation checklist is being completed
Corrective action
Weekly inventory review
Conduct group manager meeting
Conduct individual manager meetings
Ensure employee reviews are being done
Work with vendors on promotions/ marketing and advertising
Oversee hiring and termination
Ensure quality of all product sold
Ensure high level of guest satisfaction
Ensure labor management is conducted daily
Work on menu review and product mix
Oversee all training of staff
Sales projections with budget
Maintain safe and secure working environment for staff
Maintain all policies and procedures
Ensure proper portion control including liquor pours
Maintain cleanliness of facility
Follow through with line level staff on their duties
Maintain daily and weekly cleaning assignments
Responsible for proper communication between host stand, dining room, bar and kitchen
Ordering of all product related to kitchen
Responsible for proper check-in of product and proper rotation while orders are stocked
Set and maintain proper par levels for both inventory sheet and order guides
Develop daily prep list that is clear and defined to ensure proper movement of staff
Follow through on any guest concerns related to taste and quality of food
Maintain proper sanitation in line with local food safety guidelines
Fluent understanding of kitchen operations and food practices
Maintain shelf to sheet order guides and inventory guide
Ensure proper labor management of line staff & lead cooks
Check completion of checklists and ensure line level duties are performed to standards
