We are now hiring for an Housekeeping / Inspector Trainer!

The Inspector Trainer's primary mission is to assist the housekeeping department in it’s day to day operations by providing and enforcing a quality cleaning standard across all company managed properties, to work with housekeepers and provide constructive feedback on any issues found and to congratulate on a job well done. The Inspector Trainer is the direct supervisor of up to 15 housekeepers and responsible for training them in company standard cleaning practices and procedures.

Inspector Trainers are the eyes and ears of our company. Quite often they are the last people to see a property before the guest and our last chance to ensure the property is ready to exceed our guest’s expectations. As such, the inspector is ultimately responsible for reporting cleaning or maintenance issues in properties inspected to appropriate managers or supervisors, or when time permits, eliminating these issues personally. Primary Responsibilities:

Inspections a) Assist in the process of inspecting all properties for cleanliness and proper maintenance. b) Help to enforce a superior level of cleanliness and a standard property appearance among all company managed properties. c) Assist in daily housekeeping scheduling as needed and directed by the Director of Operations. d) Participate in regular housekeeping meetings, and in the process of providing feedback to housekeepers in the form of electronic and/or paper inspection sheets. e) Assist in cleaning as needed to correct issues, as time requires, and as the situation dictates. f) To pursue a 100% inspection rate and a 100% satisfaction rate for every reservation.

Supervisory Duties a) Lead a group of up to 15 Housekeepers, teaching them standard cleaning procedures and best practices. b) Share inspection feedback with Housekeeping Staff; discuss inspection or guest concerns, advise on ways to improve, and schedule additional training as needed. c) Apply discipline as needed for housekeeper under supervision including verbal and written disciplinary actions. Perform terminations with the assistance of office management as needed. d) Attend quarterly manager meetings to review company goals, projects, and discuss any questions and concerns.

Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Authorization & ability to work in the US.

Cell Phone.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and ability to do standard household cleaning tasks.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $13.50 – 15.00 / hour
