Job Description
Wine Expert/Server
We are looking for an enthusiastic Wine Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience to join our family here at The Blue Heron.
Responsibilities
Price and stock all wine deliveries that arrive.
Assist customers’ needs and preferences and make wine recommendations based on knowledge and customer interactions.
Meet daily and weekly sales goals as well as set new goals.
Plan and present bar menu
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish wine inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
Resume and proven working experience as a server
Excellent knowledge of wine with the ability to pass on to customers
Computer literacy
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the winebar organized, stocked and clean
Relevant training certificate (OLCC)
Amazing customer service skills.
Job Type: Part-time
INCLUDES TIPS
COVID-19 considerations: All customers and staff are required to wear masks while inside. If seated at wine bar the mask can be removed until the customer walks around the store. All staff must wear masks at all times except for when eating or drinking.
