Housekeeping duties include general household cleaning, restocking of the home with supplies, and reporting of any potential maintenance issues. Experience is not necessary as we're willing to train. Our ideal candidate is available for work starting at 11 am when guests are checking out. This position is part-time, with full time hours available during the peak season. During the off-season months this position is typically under 20 hours a week, with work 1 to 3 days a week. During the high-season months this position is up to 40 hours a week, with work 1-5 days a week.
One thing our housekeepers enjoy that is probably a continual annoyance of other vacation rental housekeepers on the coast is our linen process. We provide all linens freshly laundered off-site. When you're cleaning our rentals you simply bag up the dirty linen, and bring in fresh material. In contrast, our competition typically has housekeepers washing linen on-site or worse - bringing it home with them in the evening hours!
Benefits we provide our housekeepers include:
-Competitive Wages. In 2018, our average wage was above $18.00 per hour for our housekeeper position.
-Vacation Time & Sick Time. Sick time is usable after 90 days, and vacation time after 1 year. Benefits accrue based on hours worked.
-ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Retirement Benefit). Work with us and accrue ownership in our company at no cost. 1000 hours/year is required for accrual eligibility.
-Flexible Scheduling. We can work with any schedule that has availability starting at 11 am; any desired days, or shifts in days can be accommodated if notified in advance of the weekly scheduling.
