Position Description
Job Title: Housekeeping Lead
Reporting: Housekeeping Manager
Position: Non-exempt or Exempt
Department: Housekeeping
Purpose:
Responsible for all housekeeping. This includes; laundry, staffing, ordering, cleaning, scheduling, and department relationships. An acute ability to work with people, manage competing priorities, and build rapport with people.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
High school or equivalent
Reliable transportation
Must have a Smart Phone
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal communication
Enjoy the sometimes hectic and chaotic nature of the housekeeping environment
Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
Follow prescribed cleaning and inspection process
Observe established policies and procedures
Help build a cohesive team
Motivate and build confidence of staff
Assist in leading staff meetings
Create schedules and reporting as directed by supervisor
Collaborate with other departments to succeed at taking care of guests and owners
Use technology to assist in managing the work
Lead by example
Coach staff to succeed in their respective duties
Record supply inventory at home as directed by supervisor.
Review property for any damage or needed maintenance and report to supervisor in a timely manner
Perform annual deep cleans of properties
Understand the laundry cleaning process
Other duties as assigned

Additional hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Bending, kneeling, twisting, and moving for 90% of shift
