We are currently hiring for an Accounting Clerk in Portland Paying 18-22/hr. based on experience:Qualifications:Associate's Degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of related experience. * Understanding of accounting principles. * Proficient with ERP Systems, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook * Excellent communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with accounting and operations. * Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize high volume in a fast-paced environment. * Attention to detail with a high level of accuracyResponsibilities:* Manage journal entry requests that come through a shared Outlook mailbox and prepare the journal entries to ensure accurate and timely posting.* Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts using best in class templates and techniques for audit support.* Complete range of month-end close related responsibilities, including standard journal entries, to ensure timely and accurate month-end reporting.* Download and distribute monthly reports to management.* Manage workload and proactively communicate with management when there are unexpected challenges.* Support external audits as needed including obtaining requested documentation.* Assist in special projects as applicable to the position.If you are interested in being considered for this role.
