What you will do:
The Master Data Analyst is accountable for the data set up and end-to-end data integrity for master data including, but not limited to: product, formulas/BOMs, customer and vendor. Will need an excellent working knowledge of ERP systems (D365 preferred), strong business knowledge and the ability to offer recommendations to enhance workflow and increase efficiency. Includes set-up, maintenance/updates, testing of master data.

Here’s a day in the life:
  • Works closely with the Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Customer Service, Finance, Quality and IT organizations to understand Master and Transactional data usage needs and help develop standardized data solutions across all business processes
  • Owns entry of master data into source systems. Manages and maintains day-to-day transactional data and deliverables. Analyzes, monitors and measures the quality of master data in accordance with data standards, policies and procedures and implements corrective action plans to address faulty data. Responds to inquiries from business within agreed timeframes. Ensures day-to-day master data are added to the required system within the agreed on time frame
  • Develops templates and works with IT to develop integrations to simplify and improve the accuracy of the data entry process
  • Interacts with suppliers when specific information is needed to complete records
  • Resolves master data issues; communicates effectively with all applicable stakeholders to ensure accurate master data
  • Partners with Master Data Architect to ensure data management documentation is complete, accurate, stored and communicated appropriately
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to audit master data to proactively find and resolve issues before business is impacted
  • Learn quickly and work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Communicate effectively
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook for email communications, Word for document and proposal development, Excel for financial reporting/modeling, Project for work breakdown structure development and PowerPoint for presentation development
  • Act as a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company
  • Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT or related field
  • Prior data analyst experience is required (enterprise level is preferred)
  • Must have 5 years previous ERP system experience (Microsoft Dynamics F&O preferred)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing business preferred
  • Operations/Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
