We are seeking an experienced SolidWorks cad drafter to grow with our team.
Job Duties:
Understand the layout, design, and fabrication process of various types of metal. Mild steel, stainless and aluminum
Analyze current designs and make modifications to facilitate needs for the customer
Create drawings and material list for fabrication
Work collaboratively in a team environment
Reverse Engineering
Generate laser files for sheet metal parts
Perform various tasks through out different stages of production
Qualifications:
SolidWorks/CAD experience - 1-year minimum professional experience, or degree
Time Management
High attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines with excellent follow through
Strong technical knowledge and precise written and verbal communication
Very organized, attention to detail, self-starter, team player, desire to learn
Be able to multitask
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Some understanding of K factors and sheet metal bending is a plus
Do what is needed to support operations as requested
Salary depends on experience, this is a full-time hourly position.
