Find your future with us.Boeing is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector to join the PDX-Commercial Airplane Paint Operations group. This team operates out of the Portland airport in the Portland, OR area.Position Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.

Perform Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.

Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.

Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of combined aircraft maintenance education and experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background.

This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations.

Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as required.

Preferred QualificationsValid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred. Please note your certificate number on your resume if you are certified.

Prefer a minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background.
