Job Description

The Program Coordinator is the lead staff for oneresidential group home program and will be responsible for direct care such as personal cares, behavior supportsand daily living activities, as well asadministrative duties that include, but are not limited to:

  • assisting with schedules
  • documentation and follow-up of individual and program related issues
  • ensuring compliance with policies and Oregon Administrative Rules
  • one on one training of staff

However, this is not a supervisory role. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Have ability to use a personal vehicle on the job covered by liability insurance
  • Have an acceptable driving record
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • 1-2 years of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Prior experience inresidential servicesfor people with developmental disabilities preferred

Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital services Assist incoming clients by completing the required documentation, entering all pet information and history in the computer, utilizing proper collars and tags for identification, and ensuring prompt service. Assist outgoing clients by providing all necessary instructions, information and invoices, dispensing prescription items per the veterinarian\'s instructions, selling retail products and scheduling future appointments. Manage the finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing procedures. Conduct administrative functions as necessary. Other job duties as assigned.
