Job Overview:
Develop a comprehensive set of cloud policies, standards, and procedures, including technical content and change management process that ensures consistency and standardization within and across manuals.
  • Develop and document a fully integrated set of cloud policies, standards, and procedures that support the long-term vision and meets operational needs, focusing on Microsoft cloud services.
  • Build a comprehensive set of cloud policies, standards, and procedures that integrates within existing programs and propels them into the next level of performance and supports both security and operational needs.
  • Lead subject matter experts (SMEs) through process of documenting a set of cloud policies, standards, and procedures using framework/model and technology.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify and address content gaps in the current set of cloud policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure efficient and effective communications with all levels of SMEs.
  • Work closely with project team members to prioritize the order documents are needed.
  • Ensure all published documents are in alignment with regulatory/compliance requirements.

Technical Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in technical writing including policy development.
  • Proven ability to process varying information from multiple sources, synthesize, and ensure consistency.
  • Proven ability to facilitate groups of subject matter experts (SMEs) on highly technical topics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and be proactive with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to define problems, develop and present recommendations, organize information, and identify alternative solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with others, including team members, managers; and directors and work effectively with employees at all levels and across departments.
  • Effective communication skills across varying disciplines and experience levels.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a Microsoft Word.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint.
