Note: We are only recruiting participants who are CURRENTLY 21-30 years old. If you are older than 30, please do not apply

We are conducting a study examining the relationship between brain chemistry and the factors that motivate alcohol use. To participate, you must be right-handed, have engaged in binge drinking in the past month, and have no metal in your body. Evening / weekend scheduling and assistance with transportation are available.

If eligible based on a 20 minute pre-screening and 1 hour interview, participation will include a single 3 hour visit to the lab. You may earn up to $140 for full completion of all study components.

Each visit will involve:

Tests and questionnaires to measure thinking abilities and decision making

An MRI at the OHSU Advanced Imaging Research Center
