As an evening line cook at Farrar s Bistro, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, preparing and cooking delicious meals to delight our guests. Your responsibilities will include preparing food items according to our menu specifications, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to Farrar s Bistro recipes and standards.
- Assist in plating and presenting meals with attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation throughout service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food quality and sanitation.
- Help with inventory management and stock supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and cuisine styles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
