The Vintages Trailer Resort in Dayton, Oregon is looking for a full-time housekeeping supervisor. Will require working weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks

oversee staff on a daily basis

check trailers and common areas for cleanliness

willingness to perform housekeeper duties as required

schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence

establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards

motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job

respond to customer complaints and special requests

monitor and replenish cleaning products stock

participate in large cleaning projects as required

ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications, which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Education and Experience:

high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Skills and Abilities:

work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role

hands-on experience with commercial cleaning and maintenance tasks

excellent organizational and team management skills

knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods

knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials

working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment

able to listen and follow instructions

effective communication skills

able to work unsupervised

able to maintain a professional manner at all times

displays integrity and honesty

maintains a positive attitude towards residents, guests, and visitors

demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness

able to follow and adhere to standard policies and procedures

physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend

able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 25lbs

able to stand for long periods of time

able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
