Join us at the Courtyard by Marriott Portland Southeast as we are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us in the positions of Bistro Server. This position will share time between the front of the house and back of the house so friendly, smiling, service oriented individuals are desired for this position. Bistro associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule which will include weekends and holidays. Bistro associates are also responsible for setting up and servicing our banquet space. This position requires an OLCC license, Oregon food handlers card, pre employment criminal history check.
BISTRO ASSOCIATE
Job description; Bistro associate; provide excellent guest service, prepare hot and cold entrees, prep food according to par sheets, washing dishes, bussing, serving, bartending, barista duties, cash handling, use of electronic sale systems, set up and breakdown of meeting space tables, chairs, linens and catering equipment, prepare food for and serve banquets, ensure that all opening and closing duties are performed, complete all daily required checklistst including temperature logs.
Job requirements; Bistro associate; 1 yr. previous cooking, bartending, barista or serving experience preferred, ability to work a flexible schedule 8-9 hours per day, some holidays and weekends required. Must be available from 2pm-12 am with typical shifts being 4pm-11pm. OLCC and food handlers card required and ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
