Self-starter with food and beverage experience needed. You will be working solo after training so tasks can be completed on your time - days, nights, weekends are all fine - put on your music or podcasts and crush the task list. Initial job will be about 20 hours per week (can be broken up into 2-4 days) with an opportunity to go to full time in the future for the right candidate.
Duties include:
- Brewing Organic Kombucha and Jun (heating water, measuring tea, sugar, and honey, pumping into vessel and topping with our crystal-charged water)
- Flavoring and Kegging - measuring juices, blending fruit, etc
- Testing Carbonation Levels
- Washing Kegs with our button-operated auto keg washing machine
- Cleaning Tanks and Equipment
- Various Tea and other ingredient extraction and fermentation projects
- Driving a Forklift to move pallets - full training will be provided
Helpful Qualities:
- Self-directed, organized, and results-oriented - you will be working mostly by yourself and while there will be plenty of guidance from the head brewer and owner, accountability and autonomy is appreciated
- Reliability and trustworthiness to the max (and willingness to work with someone who uses 90's slang)
- Willingness to both problem-solve and precisely execute established procedures.
- Good communication skills and ability to understand complex instructions. While lots of training and support will be provided, needs will change from week to week and specifics may be communicated through a concise text
- Attention to detail, clean and organized, and pride of work
- Comfort with google sheets
- Experience with food and/or beverage
- Be a non-smoker
Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
