We are a warm, friendly, busy and fast growing Healthcare office with a fantastic team of people that strive to provide our patients with the best experience at every visit. Our office is an open and inviting multidisciplinary clinic located just off NW 23rd in Portland, in a historic building storefront.
We are currently seeking an individual (20-30hrs/week) who is positive, friendly, professional and a reliable team player for a Chiropractic Assistant, Rehab Specialist (CA) position.
This position includes all aspects of assisting in the operation of a Health Care, Chiropractic/Rehab therapy and Massage Therapy clinic.
In this role you will also assist our Chiropractor(s) in many aspects of patient care. Including but not limited to:
Front desk and scheduling
Working directly and hands-on with patients
Patient check-in and check out
Chart management
Hands on patient care, exercise and rehabilitation instruction, soft tissue therapies, athletic taping techniques, patient treatment plan coordination and other office admin duties as needed.
Someone with a physical therapy, kinesiology or personal training background as well as a strong experience in customer service would make an ideal candidate.
In addition to being detail oriented, you are able to multi-task and have strong organizational skills that will support the flow of the office and patient appointments.
We are prepared to train the right candidate, experience in healthcare is not necessary but preferred. We are willing and able to train and provide the opportunity for an Oregon CA license.
You will be a key player in patient success and daily office operation!
Qualifications
Customer service experience (2+ years preferred)
Medical office experience (1+ years preferred)
Background or interest in athletic training, chiropractic assisting, group fitness, or medical assisting is strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to work in deadline oriented healthcare environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication ability
Positive, professional attitude

Answering phones
Greeting patients
Providing friendly customer service
Confirming & scheduling appointments
Checking patients in/out for the appointments
Maintaining patient flow
New patient orientation
Exercise and rehabilitation instruction
Soft tissue therapies
Athletic taping techniques
Supporting Office Manager as needed
Assisting in charting
Patient treatment plan coordination
Payment collections
Verifying patient insurance benefits
Assisting patients in completing forms
Maintaining a tidy, organized office; watering plants, managing garbage, assisting with laundry etc. (a green thumb is a bonus!)
Skills:
Basic computer proficiency, inclusive of medical office software systems, Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets, etc
Prior customer service experience
Familiarity with medical insurance, benefit checks and collecting co-pay’s
