We are seeking a dental assistant to join our team part time, 2-3 days per week. Our schedule is busy and flexible! Our three dental practices are well established and thriving with two doctors and a great staff providing general dentistry to our loyal patients.
The dental assistant is responsible for seating patients, assisting the dentist in providing dental treatment, passing dental equipment, cleaning and turning over offertories, sterilization and taking dental X-rays.
We require our dental assistants to have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent, the Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certification and the Oregon Radiology Certification. Applicants with two years proven work in a dental office will have preference for an interview.
Successful applicants will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure work with frequent interruptions and the ability to be at work on time.
