Clinic Assistant needed in Natural Health Clinic in Sellwood.
We recently moved to the Sellwood neighborhood and are an expanding holistic naturopathic and alternative healthcare clinic looking for a heart-centered enthusiastic team player to join our clinic.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong customer service skills - natural ability to care and connect with community, providers and staff in a way that makes them feel welcome and happy
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Ability to problem solve and think analytically
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
LOVES natural medicine; is a team player and has the ability to be flexible with hours to help cover for staff. The work is full time when they cover for other staff but are fine with a part-time position for now. A desire to grow into a full time position as you hone your skills is ideal. Interest in learning and growing in the holistic medical profession.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Closing/Opening the clinic
- Making homeopathic, botanical and herbal remedies
- Working reception and checking patients in/out, collecting copays and scheduling.
- Keeping the treatment rooms tidy and clean. Laundry. Dishes.
- Insurance verifications, faxing documents, and data entry
- Utilize computer and HIPAA compliant software to input and retrieve personal health information
- Medicinary management: ordering, stocking, special orders etc.
- Ordering and stocking medical supplies, labs and lab supplies
- Participation in teamwork required.

- Patient point person - responsible for face-to-face patient reference and contact including prescription refills, referrals, testing and blood draws.
