Hello! We are an LMT-owned, therapeutic massage specialty practice. We have recently had the honor of being voted "best massage", "best local service" 2021 by The Willamette Week. Massage is where our hearts are and my focus is all about caring for LMT's. Imagine healing people in rooms designed with an LMT's happiness in mind. Enjoy the views from each room and feel connected to your environment as you look at the trees, city, and sky. We are here to mentor and/or support your evolution as a dynamic massage therapist and person. If you lack advanced training we are here to help. If you have advanced training and experience that is a plus! I am a massage educator at heart so I'm always inspired to share techniques. Our team is ready to bring in another thoughtful person to become part of our healing group practice. If you were to talk to any of our LMT's they would tell you about our wonderful team. You can feel the positivity and kindness the moment you walk in the door. WORKING IN A SAFE SPACE:

Our therapeutic massage center is designed to be the safest place to work and receive massage. We have had a successful and safe experience and put our hearts into caring beyond the CDC guidelines. We have a NEW highly efficient ventilation system with high-grade HEPA filtration for effective temperature control that keeps us cool and healthy all summer long. Each unique room has windows that open! We also have an effective patient safety screening for Covid-19 for your protection. LOOKING FOR A GREAT FIT:

This is a rare employee position and we welcome all people, of all ages, races, gender, religion, ethnic backgrounds, and sexual orientation. We are a small family of LMT's that are looking for someone who loves that community feel, is kind, thoughtful, easygoing, loyal with a great work/care ethic. Our LMT's are in great demand and we have a solid and loyal base clientele. OUR STORY:

I'm an LMT that has been practicing and teaching therapeutic massage for over 26 years and am the founder of this one-of-a-kind massage specialty practice. Nine years ago, I opened up this healing home in a wonderful location and helped to restore and completely remodel one of the most charming craftsman homes in PDX. Every detail of the restoration was designed around a massage therapist's needs. This practice manifested with hard work and commitment to our LMT's, clients, patients as well as being present with their care. I am passionate about massage and LOVE what I do as well as the people I work with. I continue to give massage alongside my fellow LMT family. I go beyond what most employers consider "their role".

Our massage therapists work together with respect for each other's different skills and skill levels. We have created a very different type of massage center where the main focus is therapeutic massage and being led and locally owned by a massage therapist makes a BIG difference.LOTS OF BENEFITS: For a few of the benefits, you need to be available for 20 hours per/week. HEALTH INSURANCE STIPEND: LMT's favorite benefit, your stipend ($100-$150/mo) is for you to choose your plan. You are in control. If you don't need insurance use it on your health in other ways. PAID VACATION+PTO: You will get Paid Vacation + Paid time off (PTO) accrued, and can be used whether you are sick or not. FREE MASSAGE: For LMT's who work 20 hours with weekend shifts. RETIREMENT: Up to 3% match of total pay. CEU's PAID"CONTACT": Up to $2,000 of in-house paid advanced techniques,+ethics and communication included in out-of-pocket cost savings. No travel required. Full-time =20 hours a week (60 min. massages) or more (if desired) a week. Including just one weekend shift.

Part-Time=10-19.5 hours a week (60 min. massages) Including one-weekend shift.

If you work both weekend days this will increase your overall pay. YOUR SWEET SCHEDULE:

Our LMT shifts are lifestyle positive with reasonable start and end times.

We can set your schedule that works for everyone. We have 8 massage rooms to have flexible weekend shift times. Weekday evenings shift example: The last evening appointment times start at 6:00, 6:15 or 6:30 pm start time. You can work later if you like as some LMT's like to start their shifts later in the day. Mornings's shift example: Can start at 8:30 or 9 am and can begin later. The time between massages can be extended for more rest time, lunchtime, etc. This is unlike a typical spa or Chiropractors/Dr's setting. If you want to do more than 20 massages per week We will find the healthiest schedule for you. INSPIRING JOB FOR A PERSON MATCHING THE FOLLOWING: You can perform DEEP tissue/deep PRESSURE by nature and can also adapt to people who cannot receive this kind of work. You would rather have someone else paying for all overhead costs, without all the stress of paying and doing taxes, bookkeeping, marketing/websites, supplies, being responsible for rent and building maintenance, buying equipment, and all that comes with owning your own business. Yet, be able to have your own freedom of style and expression as a therapist. Desire and ability to do transformative bodywork in a clinical setting. That means there are some SOAP notes. We will be there to help you learn how. You are a communicator who collaborates well with others and cares about patient outcomes. Can take some customer credit card payments and can reschedule patients when needed. Comfortable in a group practice sharing clients/patients with other providers. Open to learning new techniques in bodywork and client care, even if you have practiced massage for many years. If you have your own massage space and you are ready to let go of the responsibility then I can help you with that transition. It would be a conflict of interest for you to have your own massage practice.PAY $:

In the first year, you can make $45-$65/hour including tips. For 20 massage hours a week, this would be from $45,000-$55,000 per year. If you choose to do 25 hours of massage per week this would be from $65,000-72,000 per year. When you include a health insurance stipend, paid vacation, PTO/Sick Pay, retirement match, bonuses such as coverage for an LMT, this brings up the rate to $65.00 - $75.00 per 60-minute massage. When you add in all of our benefits, you are absolutely making more per hour. Making this income with zero overhead and fewer taxes when compared to being a contractor or in a"contract LMT" role makes a big difference. For our LMT's, this income is more than they made when working alone. Being booked every shift is another key element to consider when you compare being an employee vs a contractor. Our LMT's who used to own their own practice had much more to manage with unpredictable schedules. They didn't have time to handle the endless tasks of outreach/marketing, website upgrades with related work needed for self-employment, as well higher costs annually, with minimal or no reception/office support.

The bottom line, you can earn as much working here as compared to an LMT working for themselves in Portland, with a lot MORE security. You can actually go on vacation while someone else runs the business. If you are the right person I can work out a schedule that fits both of our needs.LET US KNOW WHY YOU ARE "The One" FOR US!

We will be investing time and effort when you join our practice. If it feels right, then I am so excited to meet the person I plan on spending many rewarding years with!

Please send a resume. If you are resume phobic, please simply put together a work history with references.
