I need an additional caregiver for my father, a 71 year old patient on palliative care with moderate dementia, COPD, heart disease and cancer.

Duties will include: med management, lifting/assisting with standing and transporting to wheelchair, light cleaning, bathing, assisting patient with c-pap, oxygen, some healthy cooking, logging meds/water intake, putting on and taking off support hose, dressing, grooming, patience and kindness. Must be able to operate Hoya lift and also help lift/transport patient from bed to wheelchair.

I would also like weekly reports via text as to my fathers state of mind, how the week went, any problems and anything else that pertains to his care.

Can trade private bedroom with private bath plus kitchen/home access for hours of care.

The home is out in the country in East Vancouver, about 5 miles past 162nd and Fourth Plain. (There is a small/med friendly dog in the home). Patient is a smoker and will likely continue to do so.

We currently have a team of two caregivers and need an additional full or part-time person.
