ENTRY LEVEL Warehouse (full-time; M-F)
POSITIONS IN VANCOUVER, WA
Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. NO WEEKENDS OR NIGHTS
Family-owned, local industrial and fastener supply company is looking for qualified individuals to join our team. Weve supplied some of the biggest industrial names in the region for the past 40 years.
Our warehouse team is the backbone of our operation. They pick, pack and ship every order to its buyer. Accuracy, efficiency and timely handing of orders is required. Knowledge of fasteners and fractional sizing is a plus. Advancement opportunities available depending on work ability and dedication.
DUTIES:
Run regular inventory checks to ensure product amount listed matches on-hand product numbers.
Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability and damages and discrepancies for recordkeeping purposes.
Pack, seal and correctly assess postage for outgoing shipping orders.
Pack/unpack inventory for placement on shelves, showroom and warehouse.
Clean and maintain working areas, tools and equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
Determine proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities.
Other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, carry, move 50+ lbs of product
Must be able to walk, sit, stand and lift for long periods of time.
Ability to work on tasks individually or as a member of a team.
Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in industrial and manufacturing industry is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changes in workload and duties.
Forklift certification is a bonus!
