Portland Area Gutter Company looking for gutter installer. Experience Preferred however we will train the right individual. Must have a dependable car, and valid drivers license.
Percentage offered to "experienced installers". If you have experience in our industry you must understand that you will have to take direction from our Crew Chief and learn our installation methods. We have found that many experienced installers through no fault of their own have picked up some bad habits along the way, due to how they were trained. We approach gutter installation differently than Run and Gun operations. As a result the quality is by far better, our customers are happier, and we pay our installers better than other companies. So if change is a problem for you, this might not be your cup of tea.
For those who have no experience we are willing to train someone who is motivated, teachable, is of good character, and wants to commit to a 1-2 year training program. We supply a good starting wage in exchange for hard work, along with incremental increases in wages as your knowledge and speed increase. You must possess a sincere desire to learn a trade, and be patient enough to climb the ladder of success with us. Many trainees want to be paid top dollar upon entering our industrysorry that sort of wage is not gonna happen, not with us, not with any company. You have to pay your dues first thats just the way the ways of the world we live in. Do you have what it takes If so, let's talk.
Must be able to work from tall ladders and at edge of roof, follow direction from your team leader, and be able to think on your feet. We are a very busy company with year round work. Start 8:30am M-F some days you will be off by 3-5pm others you may work till 6-7pm depends on the work load for the day. In the fall months we work every other Saturday till Thanksgiving due to the busy season.
This is outdoor work in all sorts of weather both cold and hot. Heyit's Oregon!
We are not looking for job hoppers, we want individuals who think long term and want to grow with our company. This business is certainly not for everyone however for those few that do like it and make the commitment to learn the trade and stay put, it can be very financially rewarding and a very stable ride with our company.
