I have a small cleaning company and I am putting together a crew that will take on my accounts as they come back from quarantine and to help with one-time deep cleans, move-outs and first cleans for new customers. For the duration of the COVID restrictions, weekend work will be required to accommodate people who are working from home, and occasionally after that. Work will be part-time at first but has definite full-time potential. You will start at $15 per hour. You will get a raise to $16 as soon as I see that you are able to work without supervision. Beyond that your pay will be determined by the level of responsibility you are able to handle and with how efficiently you work.
You will be working in the Cedar Mill area of Portland/Beaverton - check this out on a map - it's east of Hillsboro and west of the Sylvan exit off Hwy 26. Most of my customers are north of Hwy 26 but some are south of it. This job would be unlikely to work for you if you would have a long commute.
You must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license. You must speak English fluently. You must be very reliable, very trustworthy, very punctual, and genuinely friendly (as in: you really like people and they really like you). It is important that you do a really good job every time without somebody having to check up on you. If you suffer from depression and sometimes just aren't able to do your best, this job is not a good fit for you. You need to know how to clean AND you need to be willing to learn new ways of doing things. I have established a reputation for attention to detail and I intend to keep it. You also need to be efficient - a detailed clean that is slow doesn't cut it.
