We are looking to hire a Director of Marketing who will be in charge of leading our companys marketing efforts. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans involved and building awareness and positioning of our brand. You will work closely with our sales department to develop a pricing strategy that will help us maximize profits and market share. Finally, you will be in charge of organizing company conferences, trade shows and major events.
To be considered for this position, you will need a bachelors degree in business, marketing or communications. You will also need to have proven experience in running a marketing team and marketing campaigns.

Marketing Director Responsibilities:
Overseeing the marketing department.
Overall responsibility for brand management, brand strategy, and corporate identity
Evaluating and developing our marketing strategy and marketing plan.
Communicating the marketing plan and work closely with senior level management
Researching demand for our products and services.
Building style guide and our company voice.
Building and managing a stable of independent contractor resources including graphic designer, copywriter, art director, etc.
Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
Working with sales department to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
Develop and build out an affiliate program.
Understanding and developing budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
Developing and managing advertising campaigns.
Supporting sales and lead generation efforts.
Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish.
Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.
Overseeing social media marketing strategy, marketing collateral, letters, emails, websites, and content marketing.
Manage PR and proofread any publicly facing communications.
Marketing Director Requirements:
Willingness to take on tasks directly on not rely soley on vendors and staff; desire to work in a start-up environment.
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Experience in marketing and running a marketing team.
Proven marketing campaign experience.
Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
Experience in working on multi-national campaigns.
Strong copywriting skills
Immaculate attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage budgets.
Professional and proactive work ethic.
High competence in project and stakeholder management.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing.
Being will able and willing to work in a fast paced tech environment.
Experience working for SaaS companies a plus.
