CMC is searching for an Operations Supervisor. The Operations Supervisor will coordinate and safely complete the duties of production, preventative maintenance, and improvement teams for CMC. This role will serves as a front-line manager for 7-12 factory operators and coordinates work across the factoryâs two night shifts. The key responsibility is to coordinate all shift activities to safely execute the production schedule. The successful Operations Supervisor will:  Have specific technical duties include pad batch processing, quality testing, computer entry, and various other production activities. Be a full technical expert (SME) in main work center, and remain fully certified in all other work centers in the factory Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specifications and procedures in a precise manner. Be results oriented and a quick learner. Have proficiency in windows based computer applications. Demonstrate organization skills Support rigorous quality systems to meet customer expectations and maintain ISO certification. Prefer experience with SPC rules and programs. Have the ability to read and write in the English language. Reading specs and following work instructions. Work closely with the team to effectively meet customer requirements, streamline work flow process (5S), and maximize efficiencies of capital equipment and personnel. Set daily and weekly priorities Supervise all productivity (pad manufacturing) Assist Shift Manager with team communication Investigate and get to root cause (RC/CA) for any non-conforming product / product. Assume full management responsibilities for performance management of Operations Associates REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience. Management experience preferred. Willingness, flexibility, and commitment required to succeed in a high demand, broad responsibility, team environment. Record of accomplishment that clearly identifies him/her as having contributed to the success of his/her existing organization. Must be able to work a 12 hour shift (much of the time standing) and routinely lift up to 40 lbs. Minimum of HS diploma or GED required; AS degree preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE: Experience in one or more of the following areas strongly desired: Automated CNC Systems / Machines & Associated Operations Semiconductor Operations Operation of Precision Measurement Equipment Computer skills, including MS Excel skills Intermediate math skills Visual inspection skills. Ability to use metrology tools Knowledge of inventory management processes Ability and willingness to enforce all safety protocols. Ability to effectively communicate across all shifts and departments   SHIFT: Back-half nights (primarily) ⢠12 hour shift (5:30 PM to 5:30 AM) ⢠Wednesday thru Friday, every other Saturday ⢠Must be flexible to work some Mondays and Tuesdays, plus Overtime to support late afternoon meetings with Engineering and to spend time on front half night shift to support that team.
