Description: A rapidly growing Cannabis cultivation company in Oregon is hiring an experienced Living Soil Garden Hand. Industry experience is not a requisite, however you must have a background in horticulture, agriculture, or similar. Experience with permaculture is highly desirable as we aim for sustainably with an emphasis on maximizing harmony with the environment. We are careful about where and how we source our inputs for our operation.

We're a professional organization seeking professionals looking for a career in this exciting new industry. The ideal candidate will:

-Have a degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or similar.

-Adequate experience with a proven track record will be considered in lieu of a degree.

-Have a proven track record of succeeding in a fast paced environment.

-Be a self-motivated critical thinker thats not afraid to speak his/her mind to help us improve our processes, approach, and environment.

-Must be available to work weekends.

-Be steadfast in your values and ethics.

-Understand sustainable farming operations. We desire to create harmony with the environment while adhering to a structured, repeatable, and process driven approach to cultivation.

-Have an OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit. Do not apply if you do not have one.

-Be a team player that works well both individually and as part of a group.

-Be able to lift 50+ pounds.

-Have reliable transportation.

-Have no fear of getting your hands dirty in the garden on a daily basis.

-Be able to use an Apple computer and be reasonably proficient in online applications and Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Your duties will include:

-Spending substantial energy handling a myriad of garden tasks from pruning, training, trellising, transplanting, watering, brewing and applying compost teas, and beyond.

-Documenting daily task reports and adhering to policies and standard operating procedures(and help develop those too).

-Weekends are a must.

-Working with awesome people.

You will be expected to quickly develop your knowledge of our brand, products, ethics, and approach.
