Earn extra money for the holidays! We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Canvassers. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering signatures in support of various initiatives and causes. Full-time Pay starts at $25/hour (part-time starts at $17.50) and will easily exceed that through bonuses as team goals are met! As a Petition Circulator, you will play a crucial role in mobilizing community support and driving awareness for critical issues.
Responsibilities
Engage with the public to explain the purpose of petitions and encourage signature collection.
Conduct door-to-door canvassing to reach potential supporters in designated areas.
Utilize effective communication and negotiation skills to persuade individuals to sign petitions.
Maintain accurate records of signatures collected and report daily progress to supervisors.
Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and maximize impact.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns from the public regarding the petitions.
Assist in marketing efforts related to petition initiatives, including social media promotion and community events.
Participate in telemarketing campaigns when necessary to reach a broader audience.
Experience
Previous experience in supervising teams is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with canvassing techniques and door-to-door outreach is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance outreach effectiveness.
Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with diverse audiences.
