Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a PM/Scrum Masterfor a Contract assignment with one of our premier Technologyclients in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities :

  • Guiding the team through effective self-organization
  • Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and organization then providing coaching to achieve higher levels of maturity
  • Determining the most effective solution to team impediments and following through with their removal
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, judgment, or retribution, with an emphasis on problem-solving
  • Facilitating the completion of work without coercion, assigning, or dictating tasks, and ensuring the work is visible to stakeholders
  • Oversee scrum process and coaches' team on how best to use scrum and Agile practices and manage interdependence between agile teams. May lead more than one agile (scrum) team, moderate to high complexity.
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Supporting the Product Owner with grooming and maintaining the product backlog as well as short and long-term release planning
  • Prepare and configure Teams boards. Work with the Product Manager and Product Owner to build Product Backlog
  • Facilitate daily scrums, sprint reviews, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement.
  • Anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges).
  • Guide the team in establishing normalized estimates and helps to understand and improve feature and story estimation.
  • Facilitate all team meetings, including the Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, and Iteration Retrospective.
  • Represent the team in the Scrum of Scrum coordination meeting and coordinates external dependencies within IT Shared Services. Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART events and assist the team in preparation for ART activities, including PI Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the projects status
  • Produce product documents and supports sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise
  • Develop and maintain product/services strategy & roadmap
  • Knowledge of Azure platform, Predictive Maintenance and Connectivity Analytics
  • Understand IT processes and work within designated guidelines
  • Open and accepting of new challenges even in an entirely new area

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • 3+ years' experience as a Scrum Master in an IT/Data Intelligence Teams
  • Strong Experience in working with SAFe, Agile/Scum processes, tools, and teams
  • Fosters teamwork at all levels through influence over authority and expert facilitation
  • Clear and concise communicator at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently coach and orchestrate across complex teams that require integration into legacy environments
  • Able to quickly understand and relay business context
  • Servant Leader who fosters collaboration
  • 2 years' experience of Demonstrable commercial vehicle, digital products, or telematics knowledge
  • Analytical & Communication skills interpersonal, presentation, and written required
  • Cloud Technologies and related project implementation understanding required
  • Demonstrable experience and comfort in presenting to leadership teams
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience working in DevOps Teams is required
  • Azure Cloud Experience & Azure Tool Chain familiarity preferred
