Akemi Salon has been a unique hair studio for over 12 years and caters to the best clientele PDX has to offer. We have new clients booking everyday, so we are looking for a motivated and passionate salon professional who is looking to grow their business. We currently have a full-time, part-time and/or quarter-time LEASE positions available. Serious LEASE inquiries only. Sorry, we are not offering a commission or salary positions at this time. If you have never leased before, we do offer creative ways to get you started.
Our atmosphere is relaxed, yet an upscale studio, with a home like feel. Akemi Salon has always been cruelty-free and environmentally friendly. Beauty should never involve cruelty, so we are proud to only use products that are healthy for our clients, animals and the planet. Our salon culture is revolved around being respectful and all about team building. We have designed Akemi Salon as "Welcome to Our Home" atmosphere, we want our guest and stylist to have comfortable and memorable experience.
We offer great lighting, peaceful garden, spacious styling stations, picture taking areas with ring light, in-house washing machine for towels, wine, beer and hot tea for clients. We also offer online booking for your guest with our online booking software.
