Position:
Maintenance Technician needed for the Dawson and Fenwick Apartments, two affordable apartment communities, located in North Portland. We are looking to add a motivated self-starter to our team who is thorough, experienced, organized, and enjoys building a positive environment for residents and co-workers. This is a full time, 40-hour per week position. Scheduled working hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The pay rate for this position ranges from $24.00-$25.00 per hour DOE + cell phone reimbursement + mileage reimbursement. This position also has on call responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Review punch list and complete items in a timely manner or as instructed.
Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
Complete all resident maintenance/repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
Utilize a P.O. system for purchases.
Accompany all necessary building inspections and walk throughs.
Maintain and monitor interior and exterior common area cleanliness
Scheduled on call hours
Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in all aspects including:
Apartment maintenance
Turnover work
Repairs including electrical and plumbing experience
Painting skills
Must work with residents in a professional manner
Strong communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Able to work with little supervision
Have valid Driver's License, a vehicle and insurance
Have a basic set of hand and electric tools
