Established industrial company looking for an experienced field technician to work as a millwright / mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and install overhead crane systems and machinery in industrial environments in the Portland Metro area and SW Washington.
Job Requirements:
+ Mechanical/Electrical experience, preferably on overhead cranes. Some training will be provided, but experience is needed.
+ Work at heights with proper safety gear.
+ Operate a forklift and man lift (training provided)
+ Read and understand service manuals and equipment drawings
+ Good written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to use computer / tablet. Company uses Microsoft Office and Inspectall.
+ Valid driver's license with a good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. There will be frequent local travel between job sites in the Portland Metro area and occasional travel into Washington. Drive time and mileage is paid. Company truck/van may be provided.
+ OSHA 10 or other training certificates a plus.
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
+ Ability to walk, stand, bend, climb, balance, reach, stretch, kneel, push, pull, and crawl.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Ability to see, hear, and respond to directions and alerts
