Sherwin-Williams is hiring full-time, Industrial Maintenance Mechanicsfor our facility in Portland, OR. This position performs routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure the ongoing integrity of equipment and availability to various production departments for use in manufacturing brushes. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and correcting equipment breakdowns and facility problems. We offer relocation assistance to qualified candidates wishing to move to the Portland, OR area.

Competitive hourly pay of $35.20/hr (plus shift differential of $0.75/hr for 3rd shift)

Requirements:
At least 3 years of maintenance experience working with machinery in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Available to work 3rd shift (10 pm – 6:15 am)
Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have access to reliable transportation
Able to pull, carry or lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Willing to undergo pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen
Able to perform general electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC on manufacturing plant equipment and facilities
Industrial, electrical or welding certifications, and/or a post-secondary/technical degree is a big plus
