Opening: Plastics Fabricator/Welder (Day Shift)

The current opening is a long term and permanent position with one of those great customers. They are a locally owned and operated OEM who specializes in manufacturing automated capital equipment. What You’ ll Do:

Prepare and weld complex plastic parts to drawing specifications. Demonstrate the initiative to help in the training of others. Demonstrate the ability to be a leader. Be able to field customer questions in relation to work also be able to work with customers and aid in the mfg of prototype opportunities.

What You Need to Have:

The musts:

Ability to identify and weld different plastics

Ability to use equipment provided to Pure bond, Socket fusion, Butt weld.

Ability to work in a clean room environment for whole shifts at a time.

Ability to work with in house and on-site with customers.

Able to glue a variety of plastics (PVC, Acrylic, Polycarbonate)

Able to bend materials using heat.

Able to troubleshoot problems as they arise.

Able to read and interpret engineered drawings

Ability to make threads on pipe and round rod.

Ability to use Manual Mill and Manual lathe.

Preferred:

5+ years of Fabrication/Plastic Welding experience

High School or Trade School diploma

Ability to lift objects, and stand for extended amounts of time
