We are a small, local, family-owned property investment company looking to add an experienced finish carpenter that is capable in all areas of remodeling to our team. We generally operate with 8-9 full time employees and enjoy very low staff turnover since we value our long-term relationships. You will be replacing a carpenter we've worked with for approximately 25 years who is retiring.
The projects will vary; between remodeling multifamily apartment units spread throughout SE/SW Portland, Milwaukie, Happy Valley and working on miscellaneous high-end projects unrelated to the apartments. Types of projects will range from kitchen/bath remodeling, hardwood/LVP floor installation, structural wood framing, door/window install, siding replacement and fence/deck building, etc.
Qualified carpenters preferably have 10+ years' experience, capable of managing projects independently, maintain professional appearance, are very skilled in areas carpentry/finish carpentry, proficient with minor electrical/plumbing and own a standard set of tools to complete most tasks described.
This is a fulltime position, wages are hourly, hours generally Monday-Friday 830a-5p.
