Solar Installer
Neil Kelly has an ongoing need for a Solar Installers in our Portland Solar operations. This is a mid-level position with the primary duties of mounting solar racking on roofs and assisting as a materials handler for electrical work. In this position, you will be an important member of Neil Kelly’s Solar Team. Our projects include residential, commercial and battery storage installations throughout the Portland Metro area. Hourly wage range beginning $20 - $30, depending on experience
Cell phone reimbursement

Holiday and vacation pay Skills & Qualifications:
An interest in solar energy
Able to perform physical exertion including: carrying, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, hauling, and lifting up to 60-75#
Must be able to climb ladders
Comfortable with heights and experience working on roofs in all weather conditions (hot sun with no shade in the summer and rain in the winter)
Some experience / knowledge of residential construction and construction safety is preferred
Ability to work as a member of a team

Ability to problem solve
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a clean/tidy manner
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
Reliable personal vehicle
Drive small commercial delivery vehicle occasionally
Able to pass required pre-employment screenings including criminal background, MVR, and drug screenings
Maintain company and OSHA safety requirements
Obtain/maintain current First Aid/CPR certification (company provides training)
You must provide your own vehicle and have license and provide proof of insurance. This position receives mileage and cell phone reimbursement. Regular travel between job sites is also required.
