Responsibilities:
Execute Maintenance Millwright Technician duties by assisting in maintaining our extensive production facility equipment
Repairing various types of food processing equipment from conveyors, gear boxes, dicing, peeling, heat tunnels, metal detectors, mixers, and etc.
Fixing minor and major issues on equipment which includes adjusting settings, blades, electric motors, water pumps, and etc.
Facility maintenance includes various repairs on garage doors, plumbing, warehouse racking, bollard poles, anchor floor stops, hanging door curtains, painting, and etc.
Safely operate all warehouse equipment and adhere to safety rules
Job Qualifications:
Ability to troubleshoot and determine causes of operating errors and problem solve accordingly
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Must be able to work in wet and refrigerated environment
Must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
Be able to walk, stand, crawl, stoop and lift continuously
A trade education in industrial mechanics preferred
Basic/intermediate computer skills
Mechanic experience helpful but not required
