JFC Delivery Driver (Tigard)
JFC International, is a major wholesaler and distributor of Asian food products (family company of Kikkoman soy sauce, which entails we are a big corporation and not a small company).
We currently have a position vacant that we are trying to fill. We have great benefits, 401 K, and performance bonuses. The job listing and summary job specifications are as follows:
Priority Qualifications
- Delivering experience preferred. Driver is required to deliver to restaurants and grocery stores. Unloading dry and frozen items.
- Having a B license preferred.
Position: Driver
Location: Tigard, OR
Hours: Full-time
Job Summary:
- Drive a truck with a capacity of 32,000 lbs.
- Load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, lifting goods and operating any special loading-related equipment or using other equipment as necessary
- Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair, following state and federal regulations
- Follow traffic laws
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles
- Collect payment for product, when required
- Other driver related duties as required to support on-going business needs and to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- English language skills required
- Commercial drivers' license preferred
- Good driving record required
- Delivery experience required
- Ability to read and interpret maps
- Ability to operate loading-related and other equipment
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs on regular basis
- Strong attention to detail
