Looking for persistent/dedicated individuals to deliver packages. Candidates must enjoy self-management, working outdoors, and utilizing positive people skills. Currently we need both permanent and seasonal drivers due to holidays being our busiest time of the year.
The job includes includes: loading van, optimizing a designated delivery route, and delivering in a professional manner. There are no set hours, but we do prefer that drivers are at the warehouse (located in Vancouver, WA) between 6:30 - 7:00am, ready to begin their day, load up their van, and head to their route drop off location around portland metro area, and as far down as tigard and any routes in between. Currently running at 5 days a week, Monday-Friday. Hours vary depending on your skills to learn the job and perform, every days loads must be delivered before the work day is done.
Drivers are hired as independent contractors, not employees. We offer assistance in everything you need to start up (ride-alongs, equipment/vehicle management and rentals, etc.), after which you become responsible for the agreed upon route.

Are able to lift 1-75 lbs on if needed

Compensation is based on how many stops you deliver each day, with plenty of opportunities to make money. Definitely a rewarding job if you are self-motivated and can hustle.
The following is preferred (but not required):
Previous delivery experience (Fedex, ups, pizza delivery, etc.)
Owning your own vehicle (White Cargo van or White Sprinter)

We are ready to hire immediately and begin training, usually takes several days of learning before a driver is ready to go out on his own. Calls or text only I do not check emails on a daily basis.
